Belize protects a greater proportion of its land area than any other country in the world; 40% is delimited as National Parks, Wildlife Sanctuaries or various types of reserves. Your shore excursion in Belize, will be arranged and run by Bird’s Eye View Lodge.

Cayman Islands

The Cayman Islands have a National Trust that’s mission is “to preserve natural environments for present and future generations of the Cayman Islands.”  Two of those properties are excellent for birding watching: Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park and the Governor Michael Gore Bird Sanctuary. Your shore excursion will be provided by the National Trust.

Cozumel

Cozumel's mostly undeveloped territory at the center of the island is covered by jungle and swampy lagoons, which are home to tiny mammals and endemic birds that have never left the island. Your shore excursion in Cozumel will be provided by local guides.

Cartagena

Close to 700 bird species live in the Colombian Caribbean. Birds from forests, rivers, and the coast may be found practically anywhere. Some 50 species are considered exclusive to this Colombian region. Your shore excursion will be provided by a local guide.

Roatan is one of the three main islands of the Bay Islands lying about 36 miles off the North Coast of Honduras. Your shore excursion will take you to the lovely Carambola Botanical Garden. A local a guide will be provided to help identify local birds.
