Panama

Panama is considered by many birders as one of the most exciting and unique birding locations in the world. Panama's position, as the link between Central and South America, places it at the southernmost edge of the range of many species and the northernmost of many others. Your shore excursion in Panama will be provided by a local environmental organization with local birding guides.

Costa Rica

Costa Rica has, for many years, been the most popular destination in all of Central America for visiting birdwatchers and other naturalists. It is a small country, but with great diversity of habitat and a very rich flora and fauna. Your shore excursion in Costa Rica will be provided by a local environmental organization with local birding guides.

Belize

Belize, former British Honduras, protects a greater proportion of its land area than any other country in the world; 40% is delimited as National Parks, Wildlife Sanctuaries or various types of reserves. Your shore excursion in Belize, will be arranged and run by the Belize Audubon Society; they will provide us with local guides. On a recent cruise, we disembarked at Belize City, walked a few blocks and encountered several "life birds" - right in the downtown area.
