Panama's position, as the link between Central and South America, places it at the southernmost edge of the range of many species and the northernmost of many others. Belize

Belize, former British Honduras, protects a greater proportion of its land area than any other country in the world; 40% is delimited as National Parks, Wildlife Sanctuaries or various types of reserves. Your shore excursion in Belize, will be arranged and run by the Belize Audubon Society; they will provide us with local guides. On a recent cruise, we disembarked at Belize City, walked a few blocks and encountered several "life birds" - right in the downtown area.
